What I am working on

Well, I am sure I won't have such dramatic results - I give things away as soon as I decide I don't need them so there are no hidden treasures - but it is a start.

The other day I had decided that I am going to redecorate my bedroom, but after thinking about it some more I think I am just going to "redesign" and use what I have. I might paint a few pieces of furniture, though.

I am also thinking of painting the giant hutch that holds our school stuff white. It is so huge and so dark that I think it can only get better. I love painted furniture, but the living room already has a red dry brushed hutch, 2 short darker wood armoires (one for the tv, one for the computer) and two tables in the same finish as the armoires. Of course, the furniture is beat to hell -- 3 teenage boys have a tendency to do that to things - so I want something that is going to hold up. I still haven't decided what I want to do. I also love black, scuffed up furniture, but I can see myself going overboard with that pretty fast!

Still stuck in the house, staring at the same walls. Maybe that is why I decided to redecorate?

Only 4 more weeks of "bed rest" to go. Woohoo! Luckily, on Cindy's advice, I asked my Dr. to define "bed rest" and found that what he expected for the first two weeks was a lot different than what he expects the last four. In the mean time, I am trying to make the most of it.
